The summer after my junior year in high school, Leslee Morris (2nd row, 3rd from right) were chosen from our high school to go to a two week seminar/camp called Operation Enterprise (OE). People from all over the county had been chosen, supposedly, on the basis of their aptitude for business. We heard talks from vice-presidents and presidents of very important corporations and we engaged in lots of business simulations. All I remember, though, are the wonderful people I spent those two weeks with several of whom I maintained contact with for several years: Rob Lawrence, Evanne Grate, Deborah Burns, Bonnie Georgia, Gene Carrocia and Wendy Mayer.

Nick Denkowitz was my partying soul mate freshman year at Rutgers. Nick's Ukranian and has strong ties to the philadelphia ukranian community. There were about 40 other Ukies at Rutgers all of whom partied together drinking excessive amounts of vodka. You could say that I was their adopted sibling. They took me in and taught me enough Ukranian so that I could make drinking toasts proficiently.

That's Eric and Nick up top. Down below is Chooch. Chooch was one of my two best friends sophomore and junior years. He got me into the pixies, tribe and nine inch nails. We saw the sugarcubes together. We were front row and it was so crowded that Bjork asked the people in the front row if we would like some sodas. She gave us a sprite and Chooch and I touched her hand at the same time. Chooch was as fun-loving a guy as I have ever met. Chooch had a heart attack after my junior year and died at the age of 20. I still think about chooch all the time, much more than I thought I would have. I miss him tremendously.
